Appraisal Review Board

The Walker County Appraisal Review Board will begin Taxpayer Protest hearings on Wednesday, July 8, 2009 and will continue to have hearings thereafter on Tuesdays & Thursdays until all timely filed taxpayer protests have been heard.

Notices of appraised value were mailed on May 16, 2009. taxpayers requesting a hearing before the ARB must file their protest no later than June 16, 2009 to secure a hearing date.

Appraisers are available Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. to discuss taxpayer questions & concerns prior to a formal hearing if desired.
